Just wanted to know if anybody had good luck with Herco in .45 ACP? I've got this powder already and thought it might work good. I've used it for years in .38/.357 Mag. loads. Thanks.

Herco works great in 45ACP. Think of it as a slower burning version of Unique.

Yes. I use Herco in 9mm, 38, 357, 45acp, 20ga, and 12 ga. Works great in all of them. I just hope I can find more of it before I run out.

Using Herco in 45 ACP it works best with 230 grain boolits and if you want a cleaner burn then at the upper end of the charge weight.

Yes, I used the Speer #12 manual to get my Herco powder charge data for use with the LEE 255 grain RNFP. That powder works great with the heavier boolits in the acp cartridge. Haven't used it in any loads with a lighter boolit. I use faster powders for them.

ditto, the slow unique remark. also will work in the 30 and 8mm cast boolit light loads.
