My friend Roger had sold this ML rifle, the .45, guy needed a base put on for a scope. I had roger send it to me, local guy wanted $200. I drilled and tapped in my Forester Jig, took about 20 minutes. I used a one piece weaver base, I had a ton of them in the shop, used, take off etc. This one fit a 7400 Rem auto rifle. I put in 3 large 8/40 thread gun mount screws, loctited it all down good to go. Hope to bend the top of the hammer next day or so. I have this same base with 3 screws on a .54 slug ML, never a problem. I may got take pics to send to Roger. He is a great guy.

thanks, words are not enough. this is going to be a wild pig gun. shoots a .448 400 grain cast bullet started by a starter. same power as a 45/70. with a wide angle lens should get plenty of pigs.
