You Must Believe In Spring

Just the title of an old Bill Evans album.
It helps me remember where I have been in life and all I have to be thankful for in this world.It reminds me of all my ancestors did for me to get me where I am today.
Right now I am indeed living for spring..I am truly ready for this winter to be over..
All the best to you and your loved ones..May the next spring bring something meanful to your life..
For me it would be to have time with my son and be able to cast bullet again..
My son will be the sixth generation to be on this land..
He is a brilliant level head man and a hell of a shot with a gun..

I love the smell of 2400 burning.. to play my 335, and to get to fish the Yellowstone river chain once more before I die..
My son is here with me so everything is the best..
Spring is close..

Well it warmed up enough (20 degrees) to drop about 8" more of that heavy white stuff last night.

NO those EARLY BIRDS will not be getting any worms for at least a month or so.

To me the winter breaks when they days start getting longer and the sun is out more...despite the temp....12 hrs of daylight is tolerable .............less is not.........................

The robins here are greatful for the loaf of bread I threw on top of the 4" of fresh wet snow.

I am ready for spring! It looks like I will have to still wait a little bit though. It is not too bad, I know I will be swatting skeeters before too long.

I must believe in spring my friends.. My wife and daughter are both sick..
I would give my life if they were better..
But I will stick with them till the end..That is the best I can do in this life..
We will all be there soon my friends..

I have had a beautiful life with shooting and with music..
I could never ask for more.
I am blessed ..but I hope I have time left to help my grandchildren.
If I have any they will be the seventh generation on the land..
That is what I have left in this life my friends..
