made my ss pin tumbler using a 6 inch piece of pvc pipe for the drum. thought the ss pins might destroy the drum considering what they do to brass but so far so good, no problems. glued on a pvc cap on both ends, cut a 3 inch hole in the center of one end for access and use an expandable pipe plug to seal the hole when tumbling. works for me, just wanted to pass the info around....thanks
