What's the cheapest a person could put a complete Blackout upper together for. I really want one to play with but can't justify spending a fortune on one.

What's you're budget? $300 could do it with careful shopping. Green mountain has some inexpensive barrels of good quality. BCG's can be had for $75 now. Anderson upper receivers $40. Barrel nut $10. Midway has Nordic free float tubes on sale for $75.

That's doable I wont need a BCG I can easily use the one out of my 5.56 upper.

Hardenedarms has a sale on now. $399 for SS barrel w BCG and a quad rail. I bought one about 18 months ago and it has been great. When i bought they were the same price without the BCG.

I have seen or bought in the last year, - an upper for $60, a $125 gunshow deal on a barrel and
a $25 7" free float handguard, plus a $21 low profile gas block and $90 BCG. Gas tubes
are about $12, and an A2 flashhider is about $25.

That is fairly close to as cheap as you will do it, maybe find a few deals cheaper
if you look hard.

Hardened arms is loaded with Yankee Hill junk. I would lean more toward PSA. I own one of each and the quality is instantly noticed when I cycle the PSA. That's my .02

What's the cheapest a person could put a complete Blackout upper together for. I really want one to play with but can't justify spending a fortune on one.

I was lucky and got mine on sale from PSA with a Midwest handguard ( which I really wanted ) and a MPI bolt for $299.00. Barrel is 16" with carbine gas port. it has not disappointed.

if I were looking to add another 300 blk I would wait for a carbine psa upper with BCG to go on sale , which if you wait you can find them for $200 - $250. I would then sell that barrel here or on another site for about $80 and put that toward a mas defense barrel when on sale like this one http://www.shop.masdefense.com/16-300-AAC-BLACKOUT-1x8-HARDENED-CHROME-MOLY-BARREL-PISTOL-1638MDBL-P.htm

in the end you would have a complete upper for about $250-$275 possible even lower. you just need to be patient if you want lowest price.

if you use a BCG you already have then you could do it for about $200. PSA

Hello community. I am a representative for CBC Industries. From time to time, we look at our traffic sources and try to interact with customers or even potential customers.

The link someone posted above is an assembled 16" 300 AAC Blackout Upper Receiver Assembly. Our current price is $279 down from $299.

Our company typically ships all orders same day or within 1 business day. Currently for this item it's 2-4 business day's processing before it ships. In the very near future, we will be back to our same day shipping.

You can visit our website at http://cbcindllc.com or call us in the office at 843-818-4374. I will try and stay relevant in this thread if anyone has any questions on our product.

Sir,

The fact that you have one post and are already plugging your place of business doesn't give me a warm feeling the kind I need in order to purchase from you.

The cost of my upper was $279.00 without the charging handle and the complete bolt assembly. My costs as follows $316.40 for the upper with charging handle shipped with insurance to my home. The bolt assembly I purchased from DS arms at the cost of $79.00 shipped. The workmanship and finish are second to none on my 300 blackout. Yes, radical forgot to ship my charging handle but a quick email had it heading my way the same day with no hassel. The had the pistol gas system I was looking for. I'm planning for the future to a state with full auto and that funky little can that makes them quiet.

I suggest throwing a few more dollars at it and getting exactly what you want.

I have an Anderson lower stripped from my local gun shop $58.00 with tax. The anderson parts kit is off ebay for less than $50 shipped. The stock is from the gun show for $47. The scope is a 3-12 power sniper with mounting rings from the gun show for $125.00

So since I picked up three lowers the other week I've been looking to start buying parts for them. Picked up stripped uppers from Primary Arms for $50. I don't need the T marks since I can count ;) Now I'm just waiting for sales on the rest of the parts.

I know this is about uppers but PSA has LPKs w/ the ALG QMS trigger for $65. You're getting the trigger for basically $20. Ordered three of those kits tonight. The grips and trigger guards will be junked.

Anyone build a 300 BLK piston upper? I really like how my piston midlength upper works. I know the conversion kits aren't cheap. I'm wondering how they cycle w/ subs and if anything else needed to be done. I keep going back and forth between building a pistol or rifle.

havent seen a single 300blk piston upper that works 100% to date. I think port pressure is the main issue. Plenty of people having problems getting DI to run subs.

I had the lower from another .223 which I didn't need and purchased this complete upper with BCG from a buddy for $300. Just experimenting with scopes at the time. :)
