Very nice. Does it shoot as well as it looks?

i went on line and saw the specs. on the barrel. it is a 1/18 and 3/4 twist. so that means a bullet of .85 long is about right. also the bore is .355 which means .357 bullets are squeezed and tight so i dont need over sized bullets.if i resize cast bullets to .358 is that too big a diam? i have a reduceing die in .358 but can get one in .357 if it is too big. im new at this wheel guns and want to do it right. now i will look for a mold in the right length.

I have a "Armi San Marco" 1860 "Richardson Conversion" w/ 7 1/2" bbl…. similar idea to yours but earlier design. Ive never slugged it or reloaded for it, just commercial reload SWC or WC… shoots very good. Fun Stuff!

Sizing to .358 should give no problems as long as they chamber. Nice looking revolver, enjoy shooting it.

Beautiful handgun! One of those is on my "bucket list"! :-)

For fun, once you get going you can also play with 38 Colt Short and Long - try some with BP and it will put a smile on your face! (Just make sure to use a compressed load and BP lube to keep the fouling soft).

Look forward to how she does at the range! You are going to have a lot of fun with that!
