Back in the summer i bought a Beaumont carbine. My understanding the carbine was made from parts left over from the factory or cut down rifles. On a web search they could have been bought by the Germans and used as a reserve weapon in WW1 or cut down in Liege Belgium and sold to the germans. Or the germans cut them down to carbines. Anyway the one i have is not a bubba job in someone basement. I also got 5 rounds of ammo made from 50-70 brass. I would like more history of the carbine and who really done the job of reworking them into a short rifle.[smilie=s: I have seen picture of ones just like mine i like the looks of the carbine over the rifle.
