simpliest is to weigh the brass, no boxes.
as for the gun parts.....a bulk sale to gun parts corp or sarco.
or partner with him...he id's the parts, you list them ,split the rewards.
if it really is 30 tons.....you could make a living at it.
use priority flat rate to keep costs down.
if close to a big gun show, get a couple tables and hawk your wares.
