Hello:
First off, let me introduce myself. My name is Richard, and yes, I'm a newby at casting.
I have been reloading since the 50s, started at the knee of my uncle, but never touched a mold, at least so far!
In any case, I have an aquaintance who is selling his casting equipment, and asked me if I had finally decided to give casting a try, and I thought to myself, why not. Lots of time on my hands now that I'm retired, and I guess I could always melt alway my mistakes.
The only pistols I shoot with any frequency anymore, are my .45 ACPs.
So, I was wondering if this Lyman # 452460, marked with the number 480 on the side would be suitable? It is a 4 cavity mold if that makes any difference.
Thank you,
Richard
