soft lead

I was lucky enough to run across about 100 pounds of lead that came from the old cable lines ,i know this lead is really soft ,i cast for my 45acp only right now and have been ww's all the way , but my source for the ww's has gone dry ,so what i want to know is can i mix the soft with my ww's to stretch as much as i can out of my lead? anyone know what amount i could mix and still have a decent 45 bullet, i run a 30 pound batch at a time when i smelt ,any input would be great,thanks

2-1 soft to ww FOR SURE AND MEBBE 3-1 if water dropped and/or you are not pushing the .45 too hard. Do a few small batches and see what works best for you. I have been shoting the soft with about 2% tin(50-1) in a .38 special with darn good results. Same here with the WW. I am stretching what I have left as much as possible.
