Henry 30-30 All Dressed up for the Ball

I finally got the Redfield Revolution and one piece scope mount that I have always wanted. I am not usually a fan of scoped leverguns, but I really think this combo looks as beautiful as they come. It is 30 below in Michigan right now, but I will post a range report with favorite loads when the weather breaks. I am really proud to be fortunate enough to own this rifle. My wife bought it for me when I graduated college, so this one will always be close to the heart.

I like that gun and scope set-up

It shot really nice before the scope, but I could never get consistent groups with the factory full buckhorn rear sights. I can't wait until the weather breaks. Long periods without shooting get me a little depressed at times. I sure wish the anti-gun crowd could experience the beauty of well placed shots with family and friends. It doesn't get much better.
