Does anybody have the 265 grain flatpoint plainbase Saeco mold? If so how does it shoot?

How do Saeco molds stand as far as quality.

It shot well in my .44 Special.

I sold it after I got a 285 gr SSK NEI mold, which is a fine mold, but wish I had kept the Saeco as well.

Have owned a half-dozen Saeco molds, and no problems or complaints about them.

alas no i dont have that mold . the one i have is mold # 429 same profile but listed weight is 240 grs . it is a sweetheart of a mold to cast with very easy to get good , uniform boolits out of this mold and i cast with plain old WWs . Saeco molds have a deserved reputaion of being top of the line .
i went with the lighter boolit cus it was my understanding that the lighter boolit would work better out of my marlin 1894 44 mag with its 1in38 twist and it has proven to be a very good boolit for this rifle .
