Experiment today with JPW and Johnsons 1 step wax as a "tumble lube" . I mix JPW(unmelted) with Johnsons 1 step 1:1 . Stir together till a lump free liquid. Dries in 20 -30 mins. Non tacky. Too cold here to test in the field...........For lack of a better name "Rick's Mix"

Anyone try it? Will keep you posted :veryconfu130705130706

It "might" work without the alox...let's hope, so.

There are folks who have tumbled straight JPW successfully, right? Seems like it might work for low velocity loads.

I like the combo as the JPW adds Carnauba. Have you tried it with Alox? 40-30-30 or 50-25-25 One Step/JPW/Alox.

Alox always ends up "clumpy"I plan to use for pistol bullet lube mainly

The paste JPW works well plain, but I have to clean out my seating die regularly.
