I need a firing pin for a H&R Trapdoor 45-70 Cavalry model. Or a detailed drawing from which to make one. Numrich doesn't have any in stock and H&R isn't much help either. Perhaps they are exactly the same as an original firing pin...I do not know. I believe that I can make one myself with some dimensions.

Go over to Graybeards and get an answer. This may work

IIRC original parts will work in the H&R trapdoor. These guys will know for sure.

The Pedersoli and the Uberti firing pin may also be an option.

I believe that Pedersoli bought all H&Rs tooling, so maybe an email to them would get you a firing pin. If you want to take a chance, I will send you an original firing pin for $12.00 shipped. Emery

I'd be interested in that as a spare if ammohead doesn't grab it.
