I had a buddy decided to buy scrap brass for me at the yard and he ended up buying a lot of 22 brass. He paid 1.85 lb for it. Anyone interested in buying it for the same plus shipping? I would think about 10-20 lbs or so. I need to separate it and see the exact quantity.

As long as the cases are not mangled or full of dirt, I could buy 20 pounds.

I was looking through it and it appears to be 22 lr magnum and 17 hmr as well as a few new 17wsm.

That would be worth more than $1.85/lbs to a 243 swager. Recently I sold a batch of 22 magnum here for $5/lbs. It is wider at the base above the rim and would not be usable in a derimming die meant for 22LR. It will jam up and possibly damage the die.

Wow I sold it already to Rolltide. Oh well you learn something new. I was happy to get some of the money back. I ended up with a lot of 22-250, 243 223 and large caliber stuff as well. Thanks for the info though I will file it away.

I'll take some 22mag and 17HMR in the future for scrap brass prices if anyone comes across any.
