I am looking for some Remington .25-20 WCF brass.

I tried to post in the swapping and selling forum, but can't find a start thread button. I've been a contributing member for over a year and have posted over 25 meaningful posts, so since I couldn't post in Want To Buy, I decided to post here hoping someone can help me out.

Open up the swappin and selling forum. New thread button is at the top left of the page just under the yellow bar.

Look here...http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?265642-25-20WCF-brass-AND-32-20-brass

They'll be just a tad short but will work just fine...

HHMM, every piece of Remington 25-20 brass I've got is split in the neck and shoulder right out of the box!?
Why Remington brass?

Because Remington is better brass. I can get two maybe three loadings with Winchester brass even after they had been annealed. Sounds like you might have some chamber problems. You don't anneal the necks on your brass?

Dang, some of my brass is on its fourth loading w/o annealing. Sweetie does have a new Taylor Machine lined barrel and likes moderate loads of 2400. So that may make a difference. I just wish Starline would run off a batch. It can't be that much different from 32-20.

I have No issues with Winchester brass, I said the Remington brass is junk "right out of the box", I shot over half of the box before I noticed it?, and for the $$$ they get for it I'll NEVER use Remington 25-20 ever again.

Well, you are sure lucky with the Winchester brass. You use Winchester brass and I and a lot of quarter bore shooters I know prefer Remington brass because it is so much superior to Winchester brass. Cost wise they run about the same. I'm glad you don't buy the Remington brass, because it leaves more for me. [smilie=p:

Humm, Granpa is making it out of Starline brass, what's your problem with that??

I don't have a problem with Starline brass. I use Starline brass for my BPCR's. Having a Ruger No. 3 in rebarreled .327 Fed. Mag. and will be using Starline brass. I don't have a problem with Grumpa's brass although I haven't ever tried any, so I can't say it will work being a "tad short". I never heard of Grumpa's brass until I started this thread.

What's your problem with me preferring Remington brass? I have been using it for over fifty years and I prefer it over Winchester.

Not a problem, just wondering about a lack of flexibility is all.
