This particular rifle I got to borrow about 25 years ago when I started moose hunting. It has been sporterized but the barrel was never cut. The fore stock was cut down, nose cap removed and the top front barrel cover was missing too. Can't wait to get it back and bring it back to its original military look. It's a Lithgow with a light (beechwood) stock. Any thoughts on where to find a forestock and top cover? I've checked the usual sources and they all seem to have the dark DP marked ones.

BRP Corp. has the parts you want. Check them out http://www.brpguns.com/smle-no-1-mk-3-stock-magazine-parts/

Actually I might order a display gun that has been deactivated to pillage all the parts I would need.

Please post photo's when you get it. The more photo's the better. Before and after and so on. A few target photo's would be great too.
