First glance, the molds looked to be made out of brass. It's actually a fine grain extruded cast iron. Some process then colors the CI brass color.

Apparently the coated boolits process is viewed as being a viable/legitimate, IE a here to stay process! As for myself, it IS! They have lots of smooth sided molds, made for the powder coating process. I don't think I'll switch to smooth sided boolits, you're stuck using powder coat if you buy one of those. I'm not sure that the presence a lube groove has any effect on the final product when they're powder coated.

As for prices, pretty much what NOE charges. 2 cav. $110.00, 4 cav. $140.00, 6 cav. $190.00.
