looking for that small round Remington bolt take down tool. Bought a couple a few years ago but cant find them anywhere now.. Anyone know a source. I know the boot lace trick and every other trick but this is for my dad. Hes 86 and its hard to teach an old dog new tricks.

Brownell's carries the Kleinendorst style for 35 bucks...they show another but it is out of stock. "Tom Mench" style. I have the Kleinendorst and it work ok.

the one im looking for was sold by Remington and looks like a bottle cap. It sold for less then 10 bucks. Dad had one but lost it.

I have never seen one of those...good luck..we have a gun show in town the weekend of the 20th. I will check there....sounds like a steal for $10. Simple is better in my book...

Rick if you saw one youd know why there so cheap. There isn't much to it. Like I said it looks kind of like a bottle cap for a 2 liter pop bottle. Just a little bigger and thicker.

And if it is, your next question would be,... where? I believe, actually, I think, but not sure, I got it out of a bargain bin at a store we shall not name, Insert name of any big box store here. And it was many years ago, sorry I cant help, but if its the right one, maybe someone else can.
