I am in the process of acquiring a full sailboat keel of lead, about 3,500lbs... so... I was wondering if some of the more advanced smelters would post pics of their setups so we all (I can) get some ideas of how to REALLY do it right... [smilie=w:[smilie=w:[smilie=w:

The pot was first used to smelt a ton of wheel weights that were given to me then I cut the spout off (didn't bother removing the trunnions) and converted it to a bottom pour pot.

So it could feed the machine I cobbled up to cast bullets.

After I converted it, I stopped using it to smelt with.
