We had a clear bright sunny day today, still cold but a nice day. So I got the tractor out, hooked up a cultivator and plowed up my garden. It isn't very big in some peoples eyes, just 92x260 feet. Too early? Yes Without question. But, I will have a few tons of chicken manure delivered soon and wanted to be ready to plow that stuff in. And this cold weather should kill the grass roots that are exposed. At least I hope so, temp tonight will be in the low 20's. Anyway, I enjoyed the time on the tractor and the smell of fresh plowed ground.
Also just joined the local bee keepers club and will have a couple of hives in place soon.

I am just itching to fire up the old Massey and bust up some ground. Maybe this weekend Ill get to disc and plow it up next week, never to early to start, homegrown anything is better than store bought everything.
