tc 56 renegade

how well will the tc 56 smooth bore shoot round balls and shot I got about 30 pounds of black powder an no gun to shot it in I sold my sharps I used to shoot a 54 renegade it would nice to be able to shoot shot and round balls

I had one, and it was very accurate at 50 yards with 60 grains of FFg, a .530 round ball, and a denim patch. I also used a WonderWad over the powder. This combo was tight to load, but shot like a rifle. Good luck!

Mine did about 3" at 50 yards with a .550 Ball and .015 patch.Some groups were smaller but not the average.Good enough to hunt with to about 80 yards.

I used .535 balls double-patched with wally-world pre-lubed patches over 70gr powder & it was deer accurate to 75yds or maybe a bit more.
