i need input on these sites that are selling once fired and cleaned .38 special brass. it is very reasonable in price as compared to new brass. i also prefer cleaned fired brass as it is blown out and easier for me to work with. are these sites on the up and up and which one is best? thanks before hand.

Contact starreloader here on this forum. He had good clean brass and very fair prices. I've dealt with him several times and I can highly recommend him and his products.

Hope this helps.

There are a few guys selling 38 brass in S&S. These guys are putting it out here, and many are Commercial Sponsors as well. Prices are very competitive. Just a suggestion.

I've bought a lot of "once fired" 38 Special brass over the past few years. High point was the stuff once offered by Starreloader, which was good as new. Low point was a batch I got from a mail order house that must have been the floor sweepings from a club or police department reloading room. It had ancient cases with the nickel almost worn off from use, de-capped cases, primed and belled cases, and a couple of live wadcutter rounds to boot.

How much do you need sir? I have some that is clean and polished and will send it to you. I owe you for your kindness! Let me know.

As for ordering online, I have used Monmouth Brass and Ken's Brass with very good results. Great price and quality brass.

I recently bought some brass from Monmouth Brass since they are a vendor sponsor. They have a sale on .38 Special brass currently. http://monmouthbrass.com/

If Starreloader is still selling it, then he is the one to contact.

If he is out of the biz, then I would purchase from Monmouth or Ken's brass. Their stuff is quality as well with good prices.

If all that fails, 1,000 New Starline won't set you back to much and will probably last you a couple years.

I have been very happy with everything I've gotten from Monmouth brass. Both price and quality.

I have also been very happy with orders from Joe88xj and Mjwcaster!

I would not hesitate to buy from any of them.
