redid a m48 i picked up from cent arms when they had their christmas sale 3 for 145 i bought 9 and two of them had good barrels...here is a before and a almost finished after

i removed the ft and rear sights..tig welded in the holes..sanded down the stock cleaned up the parts and then sprayed it with duracoat...not great stuff but good enough for a range gun...this spring will see how it does...

Nice work. Where did you get those receivers? Was that on a C&R license?

i have a c&r...and buy what i can find..i buy private sales too..transfer the ones i wanna keep,,which mostly is ALL to my private collection and build some sporters for myself...the real good rifles i keep mil..

What kind of scope is that? I want to put one on my mausers that looks somewhat "period." I like the look of that one.
