A few of the guys from down thata way come up to McDonald for our shoots and a bunch of us are figuring on taking a road trip down there. The issue right now is their shoots coincide with the Ridgway schedule. 3 hrs to Ridgway vs 5 hrs to Kentuck.

Haven't been over there yet but might have to give it a try this year. That is a pretty fair distance from where I'm at. Friendship is a lot closer.

I don't miss too many shoots at MCD
the drive to Ridgway is becoming tiresome, generally go on Sat. to practice.
Just thought a different range would be nice, I' the same distance to Alma, MI and Shippensburg, and Kentucky, about 5 hours.
closer than Raton http://castboolits.gunloads.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

Ain't that the truth! I used to guide in NM and that was a trek every fall. Biggest problem I have is way to many hobbies and to few weekends. Retirement would be nice but then I couldn't afford the hobbies. Catch 22! I couldn't be intelligent like a bunch of my buddies and get a job with some lucrative Blue Chip Co. with a good retirement plan. Just looked at some of the statements from my mutual funds yesterday, I might have to work for 3 or 4 years after I'm dead.[smilie=b:
Picking my new Badger Barrel up this weekend for my Hi-wall. Buddy of mine threaded & chambered it for me. Have to fit the forearm and dovetail the hanger, plus polish and blue. Then drill and tap for my MVA Scope. Hopefully that will stop my declining scores cuz I can't see to good anymore. Hate to do it but this game ain't much fun when you ain't makin noise at the other end of the range.
