If anyone is interested, I was passing through Blair, Nebraska and saw a pawn shop on their main street. I stopped in and found a set of 41 Long Colt Redding dies at a fairly reasonable price, which I bought.
They also had 10 or 12 boxes of cartridges marked as 38-56 and two sets of dies marked 38-56. The ammunition seemed to be a little bit on the high side, but I don't know for sure since I don't shoot it. The dies however, seemed fairly reasonable in the $40 to $50 range. I have no connection with the business.
