Having had squirrels build multiple nest under the hood,and chewing up the wiring and insulation my truck three times, my dusk to dawn light twice, and my down spout drain pipe. THIS MAKES MY DAY.
I've had several of these hangers, but never that lucky. (Maybe I need the feeder to bait them.)
PS I live too close to my neighbors to shoot them.

Not to hijack the thread but why do all these kids on stupid TV video shows always hit each other in the n..s and laugh. Don't they know it hurts, well it hurts me just watching.

One of my gas compressor (I work for a pipeline) stations is northwest of Houston. I've had TWO station outages because squirrels climbed on top of a transformer and met 34,500 volts.

Another outage or two because squirrels chewed through control cables.

I offered to spend a weekend at the station with my 10/22 using my own ammo if they'd get me the permits, but they didn't buy into the idea.

A squirrel story...One afternoon long ago.....the wife and I were sitting on the back porch having coffee and conversation.I watched as a squirrel came along the backside of the fence,my 2 dogs wanting him in the worst way.He got up the fence,over the rail and into my peach tree.

He secured a peach,ran back down the rail,both dogs hot on his tail.He made it to a tree,up he went.Half way he jumped to a 2nd tree,up a little higher and then to a 3rd tree.made it to the top of the 3rd tree and......dropped his peach.Damn it man!!

Reminded me of the squirrel on Ice Age.Poor guy,such bad luck.
