My current casting set up-

Takes but a few minutes to set up or take down.

I need a lamp for better visibility.

The good thing is positive ventilation.

It stormed here all day. This is how I spent the evening.

Didn't know where to post this so I put it here.

new as of yesterday mold Lee .515/500 grains from Titan. so far, so so good.

Fine idea using the fireplace flue. Great, now I gotta build a fireplace and tear down my casting hood.

This looks a lot like my winter PC oven set up!

I'm feeling slow this morning. What is a "winter PC oven"?

Powder Coat oven for use inside in the winter VS outside in summer.

.515 @ 500 grains! do tell, what beast do you use to sling them down range with :)

soon as I get the sizing die from Buckshot I'll sling em downrange with a model 1866 trapdoor. 50-70.

Can;t wait but I will.

That is very nice. Just looked it up on Google. what sort of speed do you expect fo get out of if? I bet it has a bit of energy :)

Looks like an ingenious set-up... kudos! Yes, I can see the need for more lighting, and when that's added I do believe you'll have a great casting set-up. Mine is in garage, and not fun when it's sub-freezing out... "while the rest of the world casts, I anxiously wait for a 40* or warmer day..."
BEST!
