Yesterday I fondled an absolutely beautiful belgium browning t bolt and it was a lefty. Second t bolt I have ever seen, did not know they made them in left. Amazing shape, even the Weaver scope looked fresh blued. Was the kids grandpas. Just had to share

A friend and I are both left handed and the local gunsmith knew us well. Got two in right when they first came out. Sold both the next day. Still have mine. Did you know that people that shoot lefthand are the only people that have overcome the disability of being righthanded.

A friend bought a left-hand T-bolt when they first came out (1966).

On the FIRST OUTING, the little square lug on the bottom of the bolt broke off.

That lug retains the bolt in the receiver when operating the action, and without that lug the bolt just slides right out of the rifle. The lug area showed some obvious heat colors, and I suspect it was hardened to the point of being brittle.

At this late date, I "disremember" how long it took for repair.... we were in a small bush town in the Northwest Territories, so were well-removed from any sort of service.

I picked up a left handed rifle once at a gun show and just could not get used to working the action. I have fired right handed rifles for so long that its second nature to work the action with my right hand while still holding sight picture holding the rifle with my left. My bows on the other hand have to be lefties.

The T Bolt is the only left hand bolt action I refuse to shoot. The bolt is on the left and it ejects the casing to the right. Right towards my face. Sold mine pretty quick.

We didnt shoot it so I didnt pay attention to ejection position. That is weird and sort of half asses of Browning. I bet John wouldnt have let that go.

I bought a left handed T-Bolt in 1970 and still have it. It is a fine, accurate rifle that has never failed ne.
