Alan harton is doing a stainless bearcat for me in 32 mag. He just sent pictures of the cylinder and frame with a j frame sight set in it. He sure does good work. Im not slick enough to post pictures here but it should be done in a week or two and ill get some pictures of the finished gun.

Lloyd,
As my kid would say....That is sick! Is it a 5-shooter? OK Ok I'll wait...A friend of mine has a single-six .22 and the cylinder is bigger in diameter than my H & R 586. It's about the perfect size. the Blackhawk I have is a mite big for a .32.

yes its a 5 shot. He made the cylinder and barrel. It will still be a 4 inch gun but with ajustable sights and elk stag grips.

Lloyd, I am envious. A .32 Bearcat would be a more useful and better killing gun than the .22 version.

Do you mind me asking the cost or will I get sticker shock?

hate to quote prices from custom gunsmiths, prices vary to much gun to gun and Id hate to hold Alan to a price. Your best bet is to contact Alan and get a quote but ill say like any custom they cost a tad more then a stock ruger.

Lloyd;
I didn't know that you were a .32 fan, also. These are great little cartridges and I have had a ton of fun with my .32's (now have four, if I haven't lost count - let's see, an S&W 631 4", an S&W .32 snubby (a 31, I believe), an S&W 16-4 6", and a Ruger SP101 4"). The GB 100 Keith ahead of 2.8 grs of Win 231 in an S&W L case will do just "jim dandy" for target and edible small game.

Enjoy your new toy. You'll have to show us some pictures of the finished revolver and some targets when it is finished.

I came to the 32's late, but now use them as a killing gun everywhere I used to use a 22. I am not sure how many I have now, but I am sure I dont have a bearcat 32! I hope Lloyd and Boge dont push me over that edge!
