Does tumble lube, Lee liquid Alox specifically, result in an effective increase in bullet diameter if applied properly?

No. If you need an effective increase in the bullet diameter you will need to "leement" your mould cavities, "beagle" the mould, or apply a powder coat.

nope all you need is a gold colored wash.
if you try to build it up it just sucks, and likes to lock the boolit to the case when it eventually dries.

Thanks but no, I am not looking to increase diameter. On the contrary, I was concerned that tumble lube would make the diameter too great. I have already leemented.

So, from what I hear, the answer is no, the lube does not increase diameter, correct?

That is correct. It does not get hard enough to effect diameter. At least from my own experiance with it.

Tumble lubing does not effect the diameter unless you have waaaay too much on the boolit.
I tumble lube all my handgun boolits now with either Lee LLA or White Label X-Lox, usually the latter.
