I have only been on this site for a little while. I have done extensive browsing and am impressed
with the quality of the postings. Useful, helpful, friendly, and a very low level of what I politely call
malarky. Thanks to all.

To Certaindeaf,

Yes I did read that thread and enjoyed it. To be fair about it I should admit that I have a degree in mathematics.
Appropriately it is a B.S. degree. I didn't hang around to get a Masters degree since I had already got enough
B.S. in the first four years.

Posers and imposters get "called and culled out" pretty fast by those knowing better on this site. Outstanding groups of guys and gals!

Agreed, Some forums are populated by a lot of 30 year old boys with 17 year old brains. This forum seems to have a deeper pool of knowledge that the forums catering to Mall Ninja's.

Cross generational associations used to be more common in our social groups. Or so it seems to me. This forum and some others I have seen create a supportive environment for the noob, and one where the differences in opinion that more experienced folks might have is generally expressed in a respectful manner. Helped along no doubt by the moderators.

Must be tough being a mall ninja these days. Dress all in black and people think you are a goth or maybe going to yoga class.

Very true, Maybe I should have said Gun Store Commando with a keyboard. :-P

In any event, this forum has a higher collective IQ than most.

Just send the signal we will make some noise. :-P

But seriously for a BRIEF moment the OP is generally correct.

This should be a go to sight for beginners! And lots of stuff for sale to help you out. Straight shooters! Way to much info to read.

I was cleaning my Raging bull after some personal time with it and my first experience with some cast boolits and was concerned about the lead at the ports. So I came to those who know read some posts and relaxed. Now I'm reading these posts laughing. So glad I found this well of knowledge. This site truly has a great group of people.

Forget it, they're all sold.

Forget it, they're all sold.

That seller has at least a 40 acre patch of them and that is 3 layers high.

But since he lives high on a mountain top in northern Montanner you might have to wait for their spring thaw to get any.[smilie=s:
