Where did you guys order your PID from? Looking for a well built unit, not interested in building my own.

Really nice and professional build. Great guy to deal with. Very happy with my PID. Vendor Sponsor on this site.

Those look excellent, unfortunately at $216 shipped to my door that is a bit pricy. Have they just went up (they as in PIDs in general) in price the past year or so? I swear they used to be right around $100.
Or am I paying for a higher quality assembly, parts, etc. with Butterz.

As I recall, the market rate is around that range, possible lower. I wanted a good one with "factory" support and a no questions warranty.

Hmm, interesting. "factory" support as in Butterz is a good guy to deal with? Or the parts themselves have warranty?
In the end, if its a better option $200 is fairly reasonable.

Butternutz very responsive. He is not a factory which is why I used quotations.
"There are no moving parts, to switch main power controller utilizes separate solid state relay that should last a lifetime if it's not abused.
Warranty, 3 years, provided unit hasn't taken a bath in lead."
