The author is quite proud of himself, and damns the movie with faint praise. Still, I guess I wouldn't judge it as a negative.

That article is a waste of time. He just bashes Eastwood.

Stick with a real peer review system.

Hi,
Well, my politics are right of Attila the Hun! Registered Republican and all that.

The author refers to the "Genius" of the director Eastwood and doubts it would of been as good with any other director. Including Speilburg I assume that was slated to do it primarily.

Admittedly it was from the "New Yorker" magazine but when you have a left leaning magazine giving any praise I see it as a good thing!

From what I hear the Liberals are raised up on both hind legs and howling over this one and that gives me a warm feeling!

I hope it makes a lot of money but more important I hope it wakes up the mid to left leaning Americans out of a somewhat comotose state in this country!
