7mm marked dies with .308 expander ?

Recently acquired a 300 win mag and was looking through some used dies to maybe put up a trade on SS. While inspecting the dies marked 7MM I found they have a expander marked .308, measures .3075.

I don't recall having taken these dies apart before. Any ideas ? Maybe the former owner put the decapper from another set in these ?

I don't remember doing a lot of things, but I would bet money some where out there is a set of dies that has a expander that is too small for that 30 cal boolit!
You do know the reloading gremlins come out at night and do this kind of mischief to us, they keep us wondering about our sanity and we blame the wife and kids because we know we didn't do it.

Your expander button was made by Lyman but those are not Lyman dies.
