I just picked this up two days ago. There are a few features I really like about the unit. Metal housing, aka heavier than hell, see thru drum, ability to control speed, rotation of the drum, filter to keep a majority of pins and all the brass in the drum while draining and rinsing brass, and memory.

I started with 38 brass to get my dawn/lemishine ratio down. I believe there are 400 pcs of brass in there since my border shift bag holds approximately 800 rounds.

Bought the dryer and brass separator from them. It is stamped CED but I believe the brass separator is from Berry's.

Once i i have the correct ration down, on to 475 and 500 Linebaugh!

Looks like a nice piece of equipment. I like the clear drum for inspection reasons. Where is availably from and if not to personal How much did it cost?

It was 299.00 from CED. The brass separator and dryer were extra.

Im waiting for the first load to finish. I hope I have my ratio right. I'm using 2 tsp of dawn and ¼ tsp of lemishine.

I will adjust from there for the 3.5l drum

Had to go to 1.5 tbsp of lemishine and 1.5 tbsp of Lyman turbo sonic cleaner. Still not like pics posted on this forum.

Anyone have the MSDS on Lyman?

Tumble it in corn cob treated with Nu-Finish and it'll shine like a new penny.

my smaller tumbler, Frankford Arsenal, holds 7 pounds of brass and 5 quarts of water. I use hot water out of the faucet, 4 tablespoons of ArmorAll Ultra Shine Wash & Wax and 1/2 teaspoon of Lemishine for 3 hours.

I would but being on the road in the RV doesn't allow for my big Dillon to come along for the ride!

the brass separator is the cats meow. No loss pins.

It appears to be a branded dryer that a person can get from Amazon. I like the temperature select and timer function. In one hour, 400 cases throughly dried. The brass separator works very well, no loss pins! I did three loads yesterday and it ran around six hours. 60 minutes my butt! 120 minutes seems like it does the job with their recommended cleaning mix. Armor All is next. Open to any suggestions for cleaning receipes.

I did smell a hot paint smell last night when I unplugged the unit. Hopefully just a breaking in thing. Who knows.

Take care
