It was on the Hollywood Senior turret press I purchased.

Anybody seen one like this? Who made it?

Slick to use and fits everything from 22 hornet to 45-70. A real joy to own.

Isn't that like the setup used on the Forster Co-Ax?
I think the Forster uses a 2 piece rim grip?

Who was it that made those old adjustable shell holders - Shoffstall?

I think Shofstall is right.

That is really cool. To bad they did not catch on.

Thanks guys. I knew someone would know

BTW Sliced Bread does not work as a shell holder.

they didn't "catch on" because if you hang a case they were history and there is no one that hasn't done it . if the case hung the turner would not release the case . Herters had them for a while in the 70s

I don't think its so great either. My Lyman trimmer has a quick chuck on it. It's fine for that but I'd hate to have to tighten and loosen the shell holder for every round !!! I think it would be a terrible inconveince.

I use a case kicker on my single stage. It would useless with that shell holder. Its no wonder it never caught on.

Lee sells a 3 jaw chuck somewhat similar. Grips and holds most cals.

Lachmiller had one of similar design as well if I remember correctly.

What do you mean by "hang", "hung"?

(1/20/15- poster is either not sure of his comment, can't explain himself, or gone shootin'...)
