I have 452AA load data in my old Lyman manuals but only for birdshot loads.

452AA is pretty fast for "real" slug loads but should work fine for any 1 oz. birdshot load then sub the slug for shot. You won't likely see velocities over 1300 FPS but if that is good enough that is a way to get a slug load.

I shot about 40-50 pounds of WIN 452AA at skeet and trap targets back 20-25 years ago .

452 was always relatively clean burning powder for me only problem now is the fact that they've not made it in over 20 years .

When I tried the lee slugs I just used a 1 oz birdshot load and got decent short range results.(15-30 yards) Seem to remember using a 1 1/8 wad with an overshot card before crimping. Too cheep to buy several boxes of slugs for a tactical match

If you can come up with an older Hodgdon manual Trap 100 is surplus/same same as 452AA. The only load I could find was from an old Hodgdon #22 manual. Assuming your loading 12 gauge 2 3/4 inch hulls, it was 26 grns Trap 100/ 7/8 oz slug / PGS + 1/2 inch filler wad. Hulls were Winchester CF or Remington RXPs. I think the earlier advice on using 1 oz shot load data with a 1 oz or 1 1/8 oz wad that works would serve your purposes. Have you tried the Lee website for info?

I used a lot of Trap 100 years bask for shot gun shells and also load pistol ammo with Trap 100.

The pressure goes up as the temperature goes down with Trap 100.

I always loaded in the middle due to the temperature effect.
