Has anyone ever used this power? The price seems reasonable even with the hazmat fee.

Nope, but interesting. "Loads like TiteGroup" sounds good as I have a few TiteGroup loads I like...

Order the 4lb and add $60.00 for hazmat. I would have to say ripoff.

From what I seen, the cost of the powder was $60.00 for 4# and the hazmat fee was $28.00 making it $88.00 for 4#.
That makes it $22.00 #.:???:

I generally buy in 8 lb jugs and try to get multiple jugs. Based on what you listed, that would make 8 pound jugs $148.00. I'm not familiar with current pricing, but I suspect prices are on a downward trend. Before I bought that 4 pound jug, I'd check around a bit and compare prices from places like powder valley for a similar pound in an 8 pound size. Will give you a better idea.

I bet it is more Rio/Maxam powder, just repackaged with their labels.

yeah I would try it if the hazmat on it was more reason able. But..... it ain't. Calling it a sale or clearance price then jacking up the hazmat to make the difference is just malarkey...

The price for the 4# is $60 hazmat is $28.50. I plugged in 4-4# and the total is $268.50, I'm sure there is some shipping but it wouldn't give me that without checking out.

Obviously the $60.00 "hazmat fee" was a mistake. If you add a jug to your shopping cart the proper fee is shown; $28.50...

Yep guess I just read it wrong. Not unlikely in my case these days. Still I wonder how the powder shoots. If it is clean and consistent it would be tempting. But I can't see buying less than eight or ten pounds of the same lot number since I can't imagine I would ever get a chance to buy it again, having never heard of it before.

From another forum about this powder

After a lot of research, I found that Expansion Industries in Virginia sells handgun powder called ETR-7. They are the importers for the powder that comes from Spain. I called the company and got a sample of the powder and it turned out to be MAXAM CSB-1.

I found this powder through a local site here in VA. Turns out the company Expansion Industries is located here in VA (3.5 hour drive from the house though). Found a guy that sells it as a local vendor for $22/pound and $85/4# jug. I haven't seen pistol powder in stores here or in WA that goes for less than $30/lb in the last 3 years if you can find it at all. Looking like a good deal to me. I've got an eclectic collection of pistol powders that I buy when I find just to ensure I've got something to shoot. Might as well add this to the stock pile! Here's hoping!
