Those are the ones I am wanting to try also. Hopefully you can give us the full scoop on them.
Do you size them or shoot as cast? Have you had good luck with the tumble lube??

Thanks
Jeff

They work for me. I bought the mold last year and shot these all summer. I go a little heavy on the Alox, makes for a dirty gun but I have no issues. Yes, I do size them. I size everything for that matter.

I just picked up a Lubri-sizer and other molds today so I will taking another path just to experiment around.

Here is the end result.... BTW I now have a Lee Factory Crimp die so the wrinkle that you see on the cases should now be rekoned with on the next loads.....

ETA: FYI the loose/unloaded bullets you see have not been lubed or sized yet. They are freshly casted and still shiney new and make for a better pic.

I too own the TL.358158gr mold and the bullets shoot just like a SWC...(nice clean holes) but I found that I need to size them all or I get varying pressures....some high some low.

But they do shoot very good when done right!

Oh...I forgot to mention that I lube them with red carnuba lube on the 450.

Like I said, they work for me. A true SWC cuts a clean hole in paper. I don't consider this particular one to be a true SWC as you can see in the pics. Its all that I had to choose from @Midway, as I prefer the SWC style. Once I find something I like I tend to stick to it. That way I don't have to keep re-adjusting the dies due to different bullet styles.

My buddy has/uses the RN version as you mention. Its personal choice I think. Here is the mould # for the one you see above.

TL358-158-SWC
