#1 resizes and deprimes. #2 bells the case,be careful to not over expand case. #3 seat and crimps the boolit. If they don't say "Car" or "Carb" they are steel, just lube case before you resize. Some RCBS die sets resize in di #1 and deprime and bell in di #2. As you visit gun show and small gun shops keep an eye out for a carbide resizing di. they exist and you don't want to buy another complete di set just to get a carbide di. This is not to say that you won't acquire duplicate di sets during your reloading career.

Looks like a carbide ring in the sizer to me.

I do not see a belling die.

Looks like you need the expander (belling) die. The sizer appears to have the carbide insert.

It appears to me that you have a mixed set. You have a carbide ring that looks like the type used by Lyman.

Looks like a Lyman sizing die, the TC stands for tungsten carbide. I don't see an expander die either.

Not all dies from years ago were set up for cast bullets. I had a set just like what you have there and nothing was missing. It was a carbide sizer, a seating die and a taper crimp die. This appears to be what you have.

If you look at the top of the sizing die, it clearly states that it is a RCBS 45 ACP die. On the body it has T.C. which would identify it as a Tungsten Carbide die. The ring also is a carbide ring. I have an old RCBS .38 Special resize die that looks exactly like this one. It has the same resize ring on the bottom and caliber on the top. I can't really see the inside of the other 2 dies to see what the stems are; so I can't comment on those. James

Watch the primer punch, looks to be a little crooked or bent in the picture.
