The Lee set is a .38-55.
Lee mixes dies to make up some dies sets.
For .38-55 Lee sets a .38-55 sizer is used with a .375 seater.
The .375 Lee sets call for all .375 dies.

I took these measurements out of curiosity since I had the multiple die sets.
I was going to use it for a guide to determine the best dies for my use or if I need to modify a die for best use.

My Marlin .375 Win has a .3778 groove diameter just ahead of the chamber. A max cast bullet might be .379.
One of the RCBS seaters would allow a bullet this large.

My .38-55 has a .375 land dia. and .380 groove dia. Estimated max bullet diameter would be .381.
Only the RCBS Cowboy seater would permit a .380 bullet. A larger bullet would require lapping a die larger.

A comment about the Lee seater die.
The Lee die has a very short bullet guide diameter (maybe 1/8" long) that would be easy to open up.
I am not sure how well this die design aligns bullets when the nose punch floats. I suppose a few groups from different dies might provide more information.

If your 38-55 is a single shot don't resize the cases or just touch the case enough to keep the bullet in place. I have no experience with the Lee die.
