Does anybody have any experience with one? I have a B model that shoots pretty good but I love the A's.

Tim, how are you doing on brass for this. I have some if you want it bud.

John,
I have about 140 pieces but I could use some more. Let me know what you have, I'm sure we will work something out.

I have an "A" and did have an "A" Hornet I sold way too darn cheap, so I found out. I haven't really played with boolits in it, only the J-word stuff. 40gr Vmax and Lil Gun powder. Shoots under an inch and IIRC, about 3200fps

My only No. 1A is 7x57 Mauser, but it sure shoots little tiny groups! I would expect your Bee to do the same.

Not to nitpick, but the 218 Bees are 1S (26" medium weight barrel) not 1A (22" lightweight barrel)

I have two of the 1S in 218 Bee, and they're probably my favorite No. 1s to shoot, load for and just admire.

If Ruger was to offer the #1 in 218 bee again, I'd have one. That's a sweet combination.

Yep, that is my mistake. Thank you.

+1. I have a #3 in 22 hornet and would love to have another bee but in a single shot. i have a 65 but if anyone has a suggested mold that might work on them both (would have to be RN for the bee tubular mag) I'm all ears.. I keep looking at the NOE 45gr GC WFN HP molds..
