Went to a gun show today. A guy had a beautiful 25-2 in 45 acp sitting there. I went on, then went back, then left, then went back again, then even left the building, and finally went back in and bought it. It was so nice I just couldn't leave it there.127304

Good job! It's happened to all of us one time or another (sometimes, ALL the time...) :)

I've heard about those darn 45ACP revolvers and their ridiculous accuracy. I bet you won't regret this one bit!

Great guns and fun with a Lyman 452423 if you can get ahold of one!

Bad thing about gun shows and sticky fingers, things just follow you home.

I found one like that at an auction last summer. It was in an estate auction, mostly long guns, and a few pistols. It was one of 2 guns I bought. They had a Ruger Vaquero that I took as well.
I went to the preview the day before, studied the gun, and knew it's value. Then while my wife & I were awaiting the start of the auction, we noticed that most folks looked past the handguns. One guy though,,, obviously unable to afford much, was handling both guns I wanted, w/o regards to how to properly handle them. (Not a serious gun guy from all I could see, and he didn't buy anything all evening.) As I watched him, I muttered under my breath; "Stop finger fiddling my gun." (Close to what I said but this is a family forum.) My wife looked at me with a bit of shock in her eyes, and said; "Did I just hear you right?"
I said; "Yep!"

That S&W & Ruger came home & are both quite nice. I;d been wanting a S&W model 25-2 for a long while & this one was excellent! Enjoy yours as much as I do mine!

Somewhere, there is a gun that needs you as much as you need it, just like rescuing a dog.

The bad part is the music you listen to when you get home. Why,you have more than you need, etc and then you ask about the shoes, purses, hats, earings and other things that can lead to a ring flinging and a make up later.

Nice score! It is on my short list of revolvers. Have you had a chance to measure the throats yet?

Funny how that works, done the same a time or two.Was at show yesterday and found a table of new Smiths at great prices but unfortunately the show was not in my home state.

You were lucky it was still there after walking out. Any good deal on a S&W is gone quick around here, especially if it is a 45 of some flavor.

Nice find.

My uncle recently sold an unfired model 25 in 45Colt. I was so mad I couldn't see straight cause I told him if he ever decided to part with it that I had first option to buy.
I have lusted over that gun for years. One of these days I will find another one I guess.

Well known for accuracy with good ammo. 452423 and Auto Rim brass will do very
well.
