:idea:Well like many others, I hate to throw away pricey material. I am using 9 lb 100% cotton from BACO, and haven't thrown the scraps in the trash. Today I reading threads about recycled paper, ink and other sources that may be abrasive, then the light bulb lit up, instead of using news print OPW, uses the leftovers for OPW.

A good friend uses the hard material that is used for BIBLE covers, though I forget the name of it right now.I guess that in any publishing business there would be quite a bit of scraps, and it is put to a good use for that.
He also modifies a set of Chinese punches and sharpens them and uses it in a drill press.
Pretty neat stuff to know...:coffee:

Jon K,

The punch you have pictured next to the OPWs, where did you get it?

I no longer have access to a machine room and things that I used to build, I now have to purchase.

Thanks

StrawHat,

BACO makes it. Pricey but pays for itself rather than buying wads, and quiet and easier than banging the hammer.
