I was scrounging about on ebay and came across this. Got any ideas what it is and why it doesnt have any lube grooves? Looks to be a wadcutter nose with adjustable length. Maybe for paper patching?

It is a core mold for use in swedging jacketed bullets. Don't know for what caliber it might be used for.

Yup, it is an adjustable core mold, looks to be in great shape, the"Ideal" name says OLD, Quality.

And from the looks of the alignment pin holes, likely never used.
