Has anyone cast rifle bullets without lube grooves and PC'ed them?

I was looking at the PC bullets pictures thread and it dawned on me that not one of them was a non lube grooved bullet. The PC naturally will gather in a lube groove and potentially throw of the spinning balance of a bullet.

PC acts much like a jacket, so has anyone tried a non lube grooved rifle bullet design and PC'ed?

Yup, they work great. Research threads here.
edit: my theory is much more bearing surface, but increased friction surface.

Had to mill out my mold to get rid of the lube groove, and yes, they work fine. That said, I haven't had any accuracy problems with PC'd bullets with a lube groove...Yes, it could happen if it's not distributed equally in the lube groove but since PC-ing isn't a precise process anyway it more likely comes down to aesthetics or just what one person happens to prefer.
