I am going to start experimenting with loads for my USFA 32-20. I have about a pound and a half of 2400 left and 4# of Unique, which are the powders I'll start with.

However, I was reading through some older, unrelated posts, saw that some guys got good results with SR4756. I understand that Power Pistol is very similar to SR4756 in burn rate and performance, has anyone tried Power Pistol in the 32-20?

Haven't tried it but Alliant lists it for the 32-20 under their cowboy action loads.

Do you have the link? When I go there all I see is 3.5 grs. Unique under a 98 gr. RCBS booilt.

Thanks, I found another reference to it on leverguns.com too. I have 8# of Power Pistol, so I'd like to use it when I can.
