My Lyman 450 is starting to ooze lube out the bottom. Are there any good fixes for this?
Thanks,
Bob

The cheap easy fix is to mount it on a piece of 1/8" rubber. Gianni

I mounted mine on top of a smooth piece of wood that would crush a bit when I clamped it down. It has not leaked and the person that gave it to me said that it did.

Mount a star lubricator where it was.. They don't leak out the bottom.....

I do like the idea of the Star, the finance minister has other ideas regarding that solution at this time. I'll go with the 1/8" rubber. Thanks for the advice its worth far more than I paid.

A 2" X 2" piece of 1/8" rubber between the sizer and a 2" X 6" I mount my sizers to with lag bolts closes it up tighter than a bull's ass in fly time./beagle

I use a gasket made out of a 24 case pop carton, it only requires a pair of sissors and it has never let me down, and it costs nothing.
