I have had good results with Trailboss and RL-7 in my 243 using the RCBS 244-95 FN & NOE 75 gr FN (looks like a scaled up RCBS 225-55 gr) Within 1,600 fps to 2,400 ish range.

Thanks for posting this Groups look nice.... Makes me think there is hope. I'm going through an Old Age dream sequence; See http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?263936-1980-Ruger-77-Heavy-barrel-243-with-burnt-throat-Options&highlight=

After seeing this post of yours I'm very excited. I may get mine working again.
Could you tell us the sizing & what rifle?

Nice. I just started with that bullet and 8.5 grains of 700x out of my Grandsons 700. I didn't have that nice of groups but it sure surprised me with it's accuracy potential. I only shot a few at 25 yards but was very pleased with it. That load is barely more than a 22LR as far as recoil, and I figure he (he's only 7) won't get scared of the gun (even a small .243) and not want to shoot.

Nothing fancy. Its a NEF handi rifle. I sized the boolits on my new lube sizer at .244.

I am going to sort and weigh my next batch of boolits and see what happens. Maybe work the load up this time.

Try 13 gr of 2400.
